Funeral services for Mr. John Mitchell Wilson, age 67, will be Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Brent officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson, a resident of Bastrop, and a retired pipeline welder, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughters Donna Michelle and Brandi Lynn Wilson, his father John R. Wilson, and mother Ruth Wilson Moore
Surviving Mr. Wilson is his wife Brenda Donette Wilson, his sister Sharon Stone and husband John of Morgan City, LA, and his brother Tony Lynn Wilson and wife Bambi of Houma, LA.
Mr. Wilson was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing and riding motorcycles. As a young man he was involved in the sport of boxing.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
