Funeral services for Billy Mack Woodall, 73, of Bastrop, will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 10, 2005 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with the Revs. Johnny Sanders and Jimmy Yocum officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Woodall, a retired Morehouse Parish Sheriff Department employee and member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George & Ione Woodall; sisters, Mary Page, Geraldine Dumas, Betty McIntyre; a brother, R. D. "Woody" Woodall; and by a grandson, Brett Duplissey, Jr.
Mr. Woodall is survived by his wife of 35 years, Esther Montgomery Woodall; daughter, Alice Baker & husband Mike of Bastrop; four sons, Johnny Mack Woodall of Bastrop, David Woodall of Samson, AL, Billy McMullan & wife Diane of Bastrop, Melvin McMullan & wife Kim of Bastrop; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Thomas Lord, Danny McGrew, Mike Tubbs, Wandall Coody, Allen Brown, and Mike Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Jack Noble, Dr. John Lipka, Ronald McKoin, and Billy Brewster.
Visitation will be held at Golden Funeral Home Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 5 - 9 PM.
