Obituary of Bobbie L. Osborne

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie L. Osborne, age 80, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Pine Grove South Cemetery with Rev. J.E. Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Osborne, a homemaker and resident of Sterlington, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sterlington. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Osborne; grandson, Gabriel Wimbish; and parents, Huey and Jessie Mae Fletcher. Mrs. Osborne is survived by three children, Harry Osborne and wife Sandra of Eudora, AR, Susan Axton and husband Ronnie of Bastrop, LA, Lisa Bonner and husband Barry of Sterlington, LA; two sisters, Melba Weeks of Atlanta, GA, Jane McGee and husband Burl of Monroe, LA; two brothers, Mike Fletcher and wife Carolyn of Monroe, LA, David Fletcher and wife Jo of West Monroe, LA; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Axton, Zach Wimbish, Josh Bonner, Bronson Bonner, and Barry Bonner. Mrs. Osborn loved to cook and her grandchildren always requested her fried chicken. She also enjoyed visiting with her "little church ladies".
