Obituary of Gladys Reynolds Manly

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Reynolds Manly, age 102, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM service time Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Manly, a former nurses aid at Hickory Manor and homemaker, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and loved her family. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Duke of Monroe, LA; son, Larry Reynolds and wife Ludie of Harrisonburg, LA; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Reynolds of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Reuben Johnson of Pine Bluff, AR; eight grandchildren, Donald G. Reynolds, Jr., Pamela Reynolds Cruitti, Greg Duke, Michael A. Duke, Dianna Duke Allen, Vickie Reynolds Lazarus, Donna Reynolds Evans, Amy Reynolds Taylor; 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Manly is preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan O. Reynolds; second husband, Bennie Manly; son, Donald G. Reynolds; grandson, David L. Reynolds; and son-in-law, John P. Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be, Mike Duke, Greg Duke, Don G. Reynolds, Jr., and Daryl Allen.
