Obituary of Ronald "Glynn" Cameron

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Glynn Cameron, age 49, of Beekman, LA, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Kennedy and Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Causey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Cameron, a retired employee of Bemis Bag Mill and member of New Life Church of God, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a member of the Beekman Volunteer Fire Department, an avid fisherman and hunter, and a former Vice-President of Beekman Water District. Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife Lorrie Cameron; his father, Ronald Cameron and step-mother Sandra of Bastrop, LA; mother Florendia Cameron of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Candace Rockett and husband Collin of El Dorado, AR; one son, Troy Cameron and wife Kirisha of Oak Grove, LA; one sister, Barbara Lowrey of Calhoun, LA; two brothers, David Cameron and wife Tina of Bastrop, LA, Jerry "Gus" Cameron of Calhoun, LA; step-brother, Joey Keene and wife Loretta of Delhi, LA; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashton, and Ashley Rockett; and expecting the birth of granddaughter, Leah Paige Cameron. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Fulton Cameron and Marie Cameron and grandmother, Anna Edmonson. Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Cameron, Chipper West, Collin Rockett, David Ramsey, Allen Cameron, and Wayne Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Keene and Kenny Albritton.
