Funeral services for Lillie B. Cheek O'Neal, age 89, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday April 4, 2008 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Loch Arbor Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. O'Neal, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday April 2, 2008 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She was a member of Lanes Ferry Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Arthur Cheek; two sons, Harry Vincent Cheek, Alton Frank Cheek; two daughters, Helen Marie Malloy, Jessie Mae Porter; parents, Frank & Pearl Lee; two grandchildren; and several brothers & sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Pauline McLeod & husband Donald of Bastrop; two sons, Raymond Arthur Cheek & wife Brenda of Bastrop, Bobby Joe Cheek of Bastrop; two sisters, Helen Virginia Hales of Bastrop, Eva Mae Puckett of Swartz; three brothers, Ed Lee of Swartz, Dan Lee of Bastrop, Thomas Lee of Conway, AR; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
