Funeral services for Mr. John Lynn Lewis, 61, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Waymon Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Lewis, an employee of POS Systems, member of the State of Louisiana Digital Technicians and a U.S. Air Force veteran, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at his residence.
He is survived by his children, Genetha Camardelle and husband Beau of Pearl, MS, Eddie Lewis and wife Teresa of Troy, MO, Paul Lewis and wife Sarena of Brandon, MS; mother, Clotelle Lewis of Bastrop, LA; sister, JoAnn Laing Lewis of Haughton, LA; brother, Walter Gregory Lewis and wife Cathey of Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren, Victoria, Christopher, Clayton, Abby, Micheal, Rebecca and Hunter.
Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Walter Clinton Lewis.
