Obituary of Francis "Diane" Halterman

Funeral services for Mrs. Francis "Diane" Halterman, age 61, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Petrus and Rev. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Halterman, a resident of Texarkana, TX, formerly of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Halterman was a former member of Riverside Baptist Church and a member of the American Legion. Mrs. Halterman enjoyed fishing, chalking, helping with grandchildren, and playing computer games. Mrs. Halterman is preceded in death by her parents, Edward R. and Frances Louise Burge; sisters, Flora Stanley, Maxine Burge; brothers, Edward Burge , Lester Burge; special friends; and special dog "Penny". Mrs. Halterman is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Crenshaw of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Darrell Edward Stanley and Fiance Michelle of Texarkana, TX, Tarrell Ray Stanley and wife Jennifer of Bastrop, LA; one sister, Annie Belle Day of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Andrew Burge and wife Mitzi of Sterlington, LA, Robert Howard Burge of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Justin Stanley, William Stanley, Chad Sosa, Austin Stanley, Amanda Stanley, Amber Crenshaw, Morgan and Emily Johnson, Hannah Reedy, Katelyn Reedy; six step-grandchildren; great grandchild, Daxton Crenshaw; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and a special four legged friend, Jeannie. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Stanley, Chad Sosa, William Stanley, Mike Blakely, Mark Brasher, and John Farrar. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Farrar, Curtis Outlaw, Daxton Crenshaw, and Kenny Gandy. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
