Lamar is a Bastrop native and is the son of John and Johnnie Lang who reside here in Bastrop. He is married to Lisa Book Lang and they have 2 children, Lauren and Ashton. They are members of First Baptist Church.
Lamar has been associated with Golden Funeral Home since 1986 and became one of the owners in April 2008. He is a graduate of Prairie View Academy, attended Louisiana Tech University and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service as a licensed funeral director/embalmer. "I have committed my life to funeral service and feel that I am doing the work that God has planned for my life. Please feel free to contact me with any of your funeral needs."
Tim's life has been centered around ministry, having served as a Southern Baptist minister for over forty-five years. Since becoming an owner of Goldens in April of 2008, his ministry has extended even further as he has taken an active role in the workings of the funeral home. Tim is a 1981 graduate of Louisiana College, as well as a licensed funeral director, pre-need and monument agent. He is pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, where he began serving in July of 1992. He and his wife Carmen have one son, Jacob, daughter-in-law Courtney, and three granddaughters, Adilyn, Emerlyn, and Gracelyn.

Carmen has been associated with Goldens since 1998, having previously worked in our flower and gift shop. During this time she has become a familiar face to many of you. She made the decision to join our staff of funeral directors and in 2003 and completed her education and is now a licensed funeral director. April 2008 brought about another change as she became one of the owners of Goldens.
She is married to Tim Post and they have one son, Jacob, who along with his wife Courtney, have blessed them with three beautiful granddaughters named Adilyn, Emerlyn, and Gracelyn. Carmen is a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she enjoys participating in the many church functions.

Jacob Post is a member of the caring staff of Golden Funeral Home. Jacob is a 2006 graduate of Prairie View Academy. In November 2009, Jacob completed his mortuary science education at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and is a licensed embalmer and funeral director in Louisiana and Arkansas. Jacob looks forward to a long career of assisting families at one of the most difficult times in their lives. Feel free to contact him with any questions you might have. Jacob is a life-long resident of Bastrop and is an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. He is also a member of the Bastrop Optimist Club, as well as a reserve deputy sheriff for the Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office. He is married to Courtney Williams Post and they have three daughters, Adilyn, Emerlyn, and Gracelyn. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing.
Kristin "KK" Goodson - Licensed Funeral Director/Insurance & Monument Agent
Kristin Goodson, or known to most as "KK", was born and raised in Bastrop. She is a 2012 graduate of Prairie View Academy and then attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Management. KK has been a part of Golden's staff since 2012, and became a licensed Funeral Director in 2015.
KK is married to Brandon Goodson and they have two daughters, Elaina Grace and Allie Beth. She and her family are active members of Central Missionary Baptist Church. KK enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.

Phyllis Allred - Office Manager / Accounting
Phyllis is a resident of Bastrop. Phyllis has many responsibilities at Goldens and is one of our most valuable employees. We have been blessed to have her with us since 2000.
Courtney Post - Gift Shop Manager/Decorator/CSR
Courtney has been employed at Goldens since March 2013. She is a lifelong resident of Bastrop and is married to Jacob Post. Courtney and Jacob have three daughters, Adilyn, Emerlyn, and Gracelyn. Her hobbies are spending time with her friends and family, shopping, and traveling. She graduated from Prairie View Academy in 2007 and is an active member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Troy Crumley - Cemetery Services Foreman
Troy is a native of Bastrop and is the son of Willie and Beth Crumley who also reside here in Bastrop. He is married to June Ann McCoy Crumley. He was employed as a Cemetery Foreman for the City of Bastrop for 15 years.
He enjoys riding motorcycles. He has been with Goldens since 1997.
Katherine Tubbs - Hostess
Katherine Tubbs is most probably the first person one will see when attending a visitation at Golden Funeral Home. Her face is familiar to most everyone in the Bastrop area. If not, then introduce yourself to her at the next visitation.
Katherine is an active member, Sunday School teacher and pianist at the Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. She has two sons, Mike and Steve, as well as four grandchildren.
