Aunt Delphia will be greatly missed. I only visited with her a few times over the past several years and I will cherish each time. I would sit and listen for hours when she and her other sisters came to visit my granny. She was so sharp and had the sweetest spirit. I will miss her sweet hugs that always came with a kiss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Ms.Delphia was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I took care of her Dad at Cherry Ridge Nursing Home and she and 2 sisters would visit everyday, always making sure he was taken care of. She always had kind words and praise for everyone. May God comfort you all in the days ahead.

Aunt Delphia was such a beautiful lady. So willing to give of herself to all of us who loved her so much. There is a little spot in my heart where I have tucked all the special memories of her, and everytime I think of her I will smile.

I became acquainted with Mrs. Delphia and learned so much history from her! She was a true Christian lady, and I truly enjoyed the time spent reminiscing about her childhood on Bayou Bartholomew. May the Lord comfort you, her family, because you know that she is now with the Lord!

"Miss Delphia" will be greatly missed at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. She was a faithful member and especially was dedicated to her place in the "quilting circle". She loved her family. May all of you be comforted by the Lord in the days ahead. Though I am unable to be there for her memorial service I will send up my prayers for all of you.
