Obituary of Delphia Wallace Johnson Hoff

Funeral services for Mrs. Delphia Wallace Johnson Hoff, age 99, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2013 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Kyle Peters and Tim Post officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held for 12 noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Hoff, a retired beautician, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a longtime member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years. She is survived by her grandchildren, Wendell May and wife Loretta, Jerry May and wife Betty Sue; great grandchildren, Wade May, Christy May Osborne, Jim Bob May, Amber May Johnson, Kelly May, Kaleb May; nine great great grandchildren; sister in law, Jackie Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hoff is preceded in death by her husband Martin Hoff; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Johnson May Murphy; her parents; three sisters, Dena Hall and husband Leonard, Katie Price and husband Devoy, Hilda Hunt and husband Ralph; brother, Bobby Wallace and sons in law, Robert Louis May and Claude Murphy. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Ridge Baptist Church television ministry.
