Mr. Barker was a wonderful christian man and had great words of wisdom for anyone that would listen. I am sure heaven's doors were open wide & the angels were singing for his homecoming!

Gloria, What a wonderful man! Your dad was so precious to all of us. You will never know how much those visits to the office meant to our entire family. It seemed each time we had a crisis in our family he was there. He always made me smile and he gave me so much encouragement when Matt had his accident. He spent so much time with me. I can remember him asking if he could be on the list of visitors when Matt was in the coma. He always went and had prayer with Matt and sometmes he would go to see him before coming to sit with me. When mother & daddy were so ill he was always there for each of us. I feel so blessed to have had him in my life. And He did love you so Gloria. I will keep you, Roy and the boys in my prayers. I love you! Mary

THERE IS NEVER THE RIGHT WORDS TO EXPRESS OUR SORROW DURING THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE. MR. BARKER WAS NOT JUST A WONDERFUL FRIEND, HE WAS ALSO MY ADOPTED DAD. HE WAS A TRUE MAN OF GOD AND SET SUCH A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW. I'M SO SORRY THAT I NEGLECTED HIM THIS PAST YEAR AND IT WILL ALWAYS HAUNT ME. SOMETIMES YOU GET SO WRAPPED UP IN YOUR OWN LIFE AND PROBLEMS THAT YOU SEEM TO NEGLECT THE MOST IM- PORTANT PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE. MR AND MRS BARKER HAD SUCH GREAT FAITH AND THEY SHOWED IT SO MANY TIMES DURING THEIR LIVES. ANYONE THAT HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING THEM EXPERIENCED SO MUCH LOVE AND FAITH. I TREASURE MY MEMORIES OF MR. BARKER AND WILL ALWAYS FEEL BLESSED AND FORTUNATE FOR HAVING HIM IN MY LIFE. GLORIA, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT I LOVE YOU AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, I'M HERE FOR YOU. LOVE ALWAYS, "YOUR LITTLE SIS" DEBBIE
