I can't believe it! Sarah Jane was my Great Aunt. I am very sad to hear of her passing. I just now found out by reading the obituries. My mother is her niece Billie Jean Hurst Powers, her father was Saran Jane's brother too! His name was William Calvin Hurst. I will never forget Aunt Sarah Jane. Bless her heart she was a wonderful lady. We moved to Arkansas in 1989. God be with you all.

I can fondly remember the trips to Bastrop to see Mamaw, Uncle Joe and Aunt Sarah Jane and John. These are precious memories and our thoughts and prayers are with all that loved Aunt Sarah Jane. She was a wonderful Christian lady, devoted wife and mother. Larry Stanley
