Obituary of Vince Musgrove

A going home celebration will be held for Mr. Vince Niles Musgrove at 2 PM Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Musgrove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at the funeral home. Mr. Musgrove, 57, of Mer Rouge, LA passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired used car manager, a Roadie Tour Manager for the Charlie Daniels Band and a member of the H.O.G. Chapter Motorcyclists of West Monroe, LA. Vince will be remembered as a free spirit, always doing things his way. He loved music, tuning instruments and his many travels with different groups. He was also known for his record sales in the automobile industry. He loved his daughter Jessica Paige, she was his joy. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Jessica Paige Musgrove of Dallas, TX; his dad, J.J. "Jake" Musgrove of Bastrop, LA; sister, Sue McCready and husband Arnold of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Charles Jacob Musgrove and wife Betty of Swartz, LA, and Stephen "Butch" Musgrove and wife Dottie of Bastrop, LA. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Zola Mae Jackson Musgrove and wife, Kathy Ann Owens Musgrove. Pallbearers will be Larry Cathey, Don Smith, James Harris, Jerry Blackmon, Michael John Courson and Jerry Coley.
