Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me.” Earth knows no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. To Doris Smith and the Payton-Smith family, look unto the hills from whence comes your help, your help comes from the Lord. Our heart mourns with you on the home-going of our dear Aunt Eula. But we rejoice in knowing she is free from the shackles of pain and sickness, and is resting in the bosom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Eula was a gift to us on loan from God just for a season and even though the Lord took His gift, we still have the Giver of the gift! And He promised to never leave nor forsake you. Last week the Lord said, “Eula, well done my good and faithful servant, you have fought a good fight and you have kept the faith, enter thou now into the joy of the Lord!” So we know you will miss Eula, and it’s all right to cry, but I hear David saying, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!” So go ahead and cry and remember Jesus said He would wipe every tear away, change your mourning into dancing, and change your sorrow into laughter! We pray God grants you grace, peace, comfort, and strength in the days, months, and years ahead! Humbly and lovingly submitted by, Donna & Henry Hardy, Doris & Tony Moore and Family

I grew up right on the parking lot of Goldens when it was on Vine St. Mrs. Eula (and all of the employees there) was like a second family to me. She was such a sweet lady. She sent me some beautiful ceramic bowls when I was grown and married, and I think of her every time I use them.
