Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Your Mothers family and mine grew up together and were really close. She was my first cousin. What a blessing was mine to have known, loved and fellowshipped with the Clarks. It was such a blessing to stay with them when I preached revivals for the churches they pastored. These are some of my best memories. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Howard was a dear friend and Zelle was such an encourager to me and to many others. Rejoice in the memories you have stored up - no one can rob you of them. May God be with you tomorrow - wish I could be there but will be finishing up a funeral here tomorrow. My wife (Jerry) and I had a great appreciation for Zelle. She extended to us a heart of love and fellowship when I served as Interim at Bethel - several years ago. We enjoyed being in her home to share in her excellent meals and her evident love for the Lord. Maybe there is a gathering of pastor's wives in heaven as well as a special honor for them. The Lord only knows the depth of their love and ministry as help-mates to their husbands. Dewanna, I know that this loss will be very profound for you! May God's special comfort abide with all of you is my prayer. God bless you all!
