Obituary of Mozelle "Zelle" Clark

Funeral services for Mrs. Mozelle "Zelle" Clark, age 78, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Clark, a homemaker and child care provider, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Terrace. She enjoyed working in her yard and sewing. Mrs. Clark loved her family, her church family at Bethel Baptist, and serving for many years with her husband as a minister's wife. She is survived by her children, Richard Clark and wife Debbie of Hineston, LA, Lynne Pippen and husband Charlie of Ruston, LA, Elaine Clark of Monroe, LA, Danny Clark and wife Karen of Monroe, LA, Dawanna Smith of Bastrop, LA; sister, Sue Cantrell and husband Jim of Greenville, SC; brother, Pete Gravely of Pickens, SC; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rev. Howard Clark; parents, Richard and Aurie Gravely and brothers, B.C. Gravely, Craig Gravely and Dennis Gravely. Pallbearers will be; Buddy Richards, Johnny Hughes, Dexter Bryan, Butch Musgrove, Charles Moore and Danny McGrew. Mrs. Clark's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Arbor and Terrace of Bastrop, Amy Blevins and Thompson Home Health and Dr. Daniel Trejo for the love and support over the last few months. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
