Brad and I went to Beekman together from kindergarten to 8th grade. I never seen or heard anything about him after we left Beekman. In early 2010 he suddenly popped into my mind and I began to wonder what became of his life. I remember he was a great basketball player so I wondered if he played in college or what. January 2014 I decided to look him up on social media. I found his Facebook page and sent him a friend request and a long message. Obviously, I never heard anything from him so I decided to find his sisters. I remember Erica and Jamie because we all rode the school bus together during our early Beekman years. Just yesterday, I emailed Jamie and she informed of Brad`s untimely passing. I am so sad to here that he is gone. Jamie also sent me pictures of him and his children and I can tell that he was a great dad. I never considered the fact this would be the case. I wish I could have spoken to him just once. I guess I waited too late to try and find him. God Bless him and his family. RIP Brad H. Cole...

Boyd, I was so sorry to read about the loss of your son. Though I never had the pleasure of knowing him, I know he had to be a wonderful young man if he was anything like his dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
