Obituary of Brad Hamilton Cole

Funeral services for Brad Hamilton Cole, age 29, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Brister officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. Brad, a resident of Beekman, LA, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 as a result of an auto accident. He was an employee of Angus Chemical in Sterlington, LA. Brad was a 1999 graduate of Prairie View Academy. He loved his children, family, and his pets. He enjoyed all sports, especially basketball. Brad never met a stranger. He was very personable and outgoing. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norman Cole. Brad is survived by his parents, Pam and Henry Gunter of Beekman, LA, Boyd and Judy Cole of Monroe, LA; grandparents, John W. and Maxine Hanson of Shongaloo, LA, Ruth Cole of Calhoun City, MS, Kenneth and Polley Halbrook of Heflin, LA; two children, Harli Hinton of Conway, AR, Braylon Cole of North Port, FL; two brothers, John Conville of Beekman, LA, Brandon Cole of Monroe, LA; three sisters, Erica Gunter of Bastrop, LA, Jamie Knight and husband Shane of Bastrop, LA, Amber Cole Stephenson of Benton, LA; numerous nieces and one nephew. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Cole, Justin Waller, Brett Clausing, Zack Brister, Chase Bostick, Shawn Hickman, Charlie Myrick, Billy Joe Holterman, Jeremy Harris, Garrett Travis, and Cody Channel.
