Ms. Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband was one of my favorite patients. I always called him "Mr. Vardemon" because it was so unusual and He said I pronounced it correctly. Diane and family, This is Susan at the front desk at Monroe Surgical Hospital. I can not begin to tell you how much Barney ment to me! I am so very sorry to hear of his passing! The world lost one of the finest men I have ever known, but heaven gained an angel! Barney was one of the kindest funniest people I have ever known. He always took whatever was going on in stride and had a sence of humor about himself.I love you very much Diane and know I will be keeping you close to my heart and in my prayes!

To mr barneys family, I am praying for you! I was very saddened when I read this in the paper. I had the pleasure of meeting him at dr Dugas' office. He was a great man. What a courageous thing that he did for his grandson! Unconditional love! Very awesome testimony! Thank you for allowing me to know him!

I am very sorry to hear about mr. barney. i will never forget when i was working at the old wal mart one year around christmas time they took my picture. he & his wife have always been very nice. my thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time
