I was an "across the street" neighbor to the Holloways many years ago. As a wide-eyed young bride, she was so motherly and helpful. I shall always remember her kindness. I am so sorry for your loss. What a true angel.

To Eugenia, Butch & Families, It's ironic that our Mothers, who were close friends for so many years, passed away on the same day, although they were in different nursing homes. I last saw your Mother at The Arbor and she was checking on my Mother to see how she was doing. The community will miss these ladies. Please accept our condolences. Joe R. White, Jr. & Family Haughton, LA

My aunt, my Daddy's sister, Frances Reily Holloway died at about 2:00AM this morning (06/24/2012). My aunt, who I called "Sister" was 85 years old. She was born in Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, Louisiana October 15, 1926. She lived her entire life in Bastrop. For the past several years she has lived at the Arbor, a retirement home in Bastrop. She has been in fair health and was still active. Her husband Hewitt Holloway died in 1991. Her daughter Eugenia, 60, lives in Dallas. Her son "Butch", 55, lives in Monroe. She has four grand children and three great grand children. My aunt was a member of the Methodist Church and was very active in her church women's circle. She loved her family and the history of the family. I will miss her very much. She donated her body for science many years ago... there will be a memorials service in Bastrop later. Frances Reily Holloway was the daughter of O. W. Reily, Sr. and Dot Higginbotham Reily, of Bastrop. Her Grand Parents were John Boatner Reily, Sr. and Bettie Ward Reily of Collinston; and Will Higginbotham and Frances Brodnax Higginbotham of Bastrop. She had two brothers my Dad, O. W. "Wig" Reily, Jr., deceased, of Cleveland, Mississippi and Jack Reily, who lives in Olla, Louisiana. O. W. "Wain" Reily, III Columbus, Mississippi E-mail: wainreilybhs1967@hotmail.com
