Obituary of Frances Reily Holloway

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the completed life of Frances Reily Holloway will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Bastrop at 4 o'clock, with a time of fellowship to follow at the church. Mrs. Holloway passed away Sunday, June 24 in Bastrop. Decendent of a prominent Morehouse Parish family, she was born to the union of Dot Higginbotham and Orville Wainright Reily on October 15, 1926.
An interior design major, she attended Texas State College for Women from 1944 to 1949. She was a life-long, active member of First United Methodist Church and served in various capacities, including president of United Methodist Women. She held membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughetrs of the Confederacy.
Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Hewitt Holloway, and a brother, O.W. (Wig) Reily, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Eugenia Money of Frisco, TX, and a son, Hewitt Reily (Butch) Holloway and his wife Paula of Monroe; four grandchildren, Jason Money and wife Heather, Rory Money-Halcrow, Reily Holloway, and Mary Grace Holloway; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jackie Reily and his wife Jeanette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that any planned memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Bastrop.
