As a neice of Pauline and Hamp Poole, now deceased I was with them on occasions when Bro. Jim would pray for them. I know no man better with ability to convey compassion and love through prayer better than Bro. Jim. Our condolences for your loss and rejoice with you at his home-going. I am confident the Lord will comfort and give you grace.

Dear Taylor family, I have so many fond memories of Bro. Jimmie, from the Jimmie Taylor singers to the day he married Bobby and me nearly thirty years ago. He was an awesome Godly man and I felt lucky to know him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

The legacy of a parent is shown by his children's lives as much as their own. When I think how much Bro.Taylor has impacted our world for Christ and his children and grandchildren...all I can say is thank GOD for a man with courage..integrity..and love for all who came in contact with him.I know he will always be missed but never forgotten. Prayers that GOD's comfort will keep you through the tough days and nights ahead.

Bro. Jim was such a blessing to so many. He baptized me at Calvary in Camden while he was the pastor there. He always had a smile on his face and something nice or funny to say. I know he will be missed by not only his family, but so many others. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. You know I love you guys like part of my own family. So glad I got to see and visit with him at his & Betty's anniversary party a few years ago.
