Cousin Martha Medlin-Howell was a a very Dear and wonderful person who cared so much about our Family and was very meticulous in developing the geneology studies, which she put together for our Family in a book Titled "The Cox - Holland Connection". She brought together many of her 1st Cousins and Family for two unforgettable Reunions in Moticello and Millegeville, GA. 25 years ago. May she rest in peace with her Husband Fay.

Mrs. Howell was a special person who greatly influenced her students. She was a teacher, mentor, friend and an inspiration to us as her students at Oak Grove High School. We loved and respected her and will miss her. We take comfort in knowing that she is at rest with her Lord and her beloved Ray.

Chris and Mary Evelyn, Even though we live miles apart, our thoughts are with you. I remember when we traveled to see Aunt Rose in 1969 and again in 1975. It was the highlight of our trip to take Mama. Aunt Rose fixed prepared a wonderful meal for us. Then again we returned for her funeral, and later for Fay's funeral and Jerry made the trip with us. His health is not good and he seldom makes the 85 miles trip to see Mama. Fay and Martha got a big kick out of mine and his name being the same! They were a faithful couple to travel to Georgia for family reunions and college class reunions. She loved keeping in touch. We treasure the genealogy she compiled for the Cox family. She worked deligently to put as much together as she could. Mama is now 91 years old and she said to tell you she wishes we could wake up in the morning and be there with you. Unfortunately she cannot travel more than a thirty minute trip without getting the jitters. Martha is now at peace with Fay and all her cats and dogs tha went on before her! She truly loves her animals like a relative. God Bless you! Howard Holland's widow & children. Edna Holland, Jerry Holland and Fay Ray

Mrs Howell was very pleasant God fearing woman whom I thought alot of. My mother (Carolyn Book White) fixed her hair for YEARS and I remember spending time in my mom's beauty shop when Mrs. Howell would come get her hair fixed. May the Lord comfort you for now she lies in the arms of her Lord. Deepest Sympathy, Lisa Lang and family
