My Aunt Gert was one of God's special children. I have never met anyone like her, the most loving, giving, and caring person. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy will continue through her family, who she loved very much and who loved her in return. I know she is having a joyous reunion in Heaven with all her family who passed before her. I love you Aunt Gert, more than words can express.

My heart goes out to Sissy and Uncle Jim at this very sad time. Aunt Gert was a wonderful person and a joy to be around. I know she'll be sorely missed by all the members of our family and her friends, as well. My love and prayers to you.

Aunt Gert was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She made you feel loved with her gentle smile and quiet, encouraging words. She was a great example to us!
