Dear Hugh, Just opened the letter from Deaton-Kennedy about the death of your mother. If I remember correctly, I visited with her at the National in Vegas in October. To the Howard family, The only opportunity I had to meet Mrs. Jimmie was one rainy day a few months ago here at James F. Webb Funeral Home (Newton, MS). She was delightful lady, an encourager to me, as a young professional in funeral service. I will cherish that memory as I continue to serve the people of Newton County.
