Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Marguerite Jones Tilbury, age 95, are scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Tillou Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Revs. Douglas Edwards and Bo Starks. Interment will follow in the Tillou Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Golden Funeral Home on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5 PM until 7 PM. Mrs. Tilbury, a retired teacher with the Morehouse Parish School System at Bonita, LA, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Mrs. Tilbury loved all of her friends at Tillou Baptist Church and missed everyone when she had to be away. She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Tilbury; parents, John Britton Jones and Marie Harville Jones; her grandson, Joshua Edward Carter Starks; two brothers, Carl Jones and Earl Jones; and her grandson-in-law, Pete Barton. Mrs. Tilbury is survived by her daughter, Linda Starks and husband Bo; her brother James Jones and sister-in-law Maurice; three grandchildren, Melanie and her family, Todd and his family, and Clay and his family; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; seven nieces and their families and five nephews and their families. Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Starks, Todd Starks, Bo Starks, Charlie Wilson, Chad Wilson, and Douglas Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Barton, Noah Barton, Jacob Starks, Cory Wiggins, and Tristan Wiggins.
