Obituary of Angela Renee Capers

Funeral Services for Mrs. Angela Renee Taylor Savage Capers are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the North Bastrop Church of God, with Rev. David Sistrunk and Rev. Doug Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, from 5 PM until 8 PM, at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Capers, age 34, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. Angela was a person who loved to reach out to people in a spiritual way and has been described as the best person people would ever meet. She loved animals and enjoyed taking her children to visit the animal shelter. She is preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Lee Stanley; and grandparents, Lorine Crenshaw, Leon and Zelma Thompson, and Clarence Taylor. Angela is survived by her husband, Jamaal Capers of Ruston, LA; mother and step-father, Ruby and Zackery Stanley of Bastrop, LA and father, Eugene Taylor of Benton, LA; grandparents, Leonard Crenshaw and wife Gennie, of Bastrop, LA and Clarice Taylor of Sterlington, LA; children, Blaine and Malerie Savage; sister, LaTasha Haygood; brother, Logan Taylor; step-sister, Kimberly Guyewski; step-brothers, Darrell Stanley and Tarrell Stanley; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Serving as pallbearers are, Logan Taylor, Tab Coleman, Desmond Trichell, Sr., Desmond Trichell, Jr., Eddie Gordon, and John Ray. Honorary pallbearers are, John Shaw, Mack Ray, Darrell Stanley, Tarrell Stanley, and Abe Stanley.
