Obituary of Lela F. Bonner

Mrs. Lela F. Bonner, age 88, of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a retired telephone company employee and member of Riverside Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Riverside Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Fleming and Rev. Stewart Bedillion officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Bonner is survived by her son, Jim Bonner and wife Libby of Bastrop, LA; sister, Ottomese Tanner and husband Jack of Monroe, LA; brother, Bro. Jerry Fleming and wife Carolyn of Monroe, LA; two grandchildren, Jason Bonner and JoBeth Kinney and husband Matt. She is preceded in death by her husband, K.C. Bonner and brothers, June and Gerroid Fleming. Serving as pallbearers are: Glen Harper, Donny Tillman, Randy Hale, Lynn Moore, Dino Skains and Eddie Bayless. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
