Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Jean White, age 86, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Bonita Road Assembly of God with Rev. Jim Brent and Rev. Bob Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Bonita Road Assembly of God. Mrs. White, a resident of Bastrop, LA, was the last charter member of Bonita Road Assembly of God. She passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 and is preceded in death by her husband, Collice White, and daughter, Quana Murphy. Mrs. White is survived by her four children, Dex White and wife Pam of Bastrop, LA, Rex White and wife Carmoleta of Stonewall, LA, Jexie White of Shreveport, LA, Dana Ingram and husband Bob of Mt. Laurel, NJ; brother, Orin Blake of Crossett, AR; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be the Teen Challenge men, Charlie Jones, Jake Hollier, Jacob Broadway, John Leleux, Kyle Sawyer, Aaron Miller, and Mike Dominque. The family would like to extend special thanks to Lagniappe Health Care and Morehouse General Hospital who took wonderful care of their mom.
