Dear Lana, I am so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I was a year ahead of Danny in school, but because Bonita was so small, we all grew up together and were all a big family. He was a really sweet young man, and to my knowledge, never gave anyone any trouble. He was just an all-around nice guy. Not hard on the eyes either, if you will forgive me for saying so. I moved away after high school so have not been in contact, but my memories of my old friends will remain forever and Danny is right there. May you find God's peace in your time of grief.

Lana / Laticia,
I am so sorry to hear about Danny! I fondly remember those summers I spent in Bonita at their house, running through cotton fields, eating watermelons...good memories! Danny was always so kind! I know words are of little comfort during this time, but know that you have family and friends that love you and are praying for you!
Love you!

I am truly saddened by Danny's passing. I am so happy I had the opportunity to have recent email conversations with him and so appreciate his sending me the stories he wrote about his times with Mike Hunt and the photos I had not seen before. Mike lived a hard life, but Danny apparently always held a place in his heart for Mike. His stories helped me remember a more gentle, loving side of my brother. For that I am eternally grateful. He also had lovely things to say about my parents. That, too, warmed my heart. I remember Danny as a kid, teen, and young adult. He always had a sense of calm about him. The richness of his stories demonstrate his passion for others. Such a loss. Prayers to you all.

Danny was a great friend in grade school. Both he and I had an interest in science and astronomy. We often compared notes on what we had seen in the evening sky with our telescopes. He was actually, the first person to introduce me to spotting what are known as nebulae—especially the nebulae in the constellation Orion. RIP friend.

The employees at the Morehouse Parish Farm Service Agency are in prayer for you Lana and Laticia. Danny was a wonderful asset to the FSA family and will be sorely missed. Danny's passing left a huge hole in our agency and in the hearts of all the employees, staff, and farmers in Morehouse Parish that Danny assisted for some 33 plus years. Danny always exhibited kindness and a willingness to serve anyone in need. Please know that in our hearts Danny will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry about Danny. I grew up with Danny in Bonita. He was the grade ahead of me. I lived in the community called McGinty out of Jones. Danny was always so kind and had a sweet smile. I am not able to come to the services because they are doing the day and I work and live in Monroe. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. Please give Jimmy Don and Rodney my sincere condolences.
