Aunt Dell was a loving person who ALWAYS looked after her family and friends, but stood up and defended her family and friends when necessary, because of the love that was in her heart for her LORD, and the love for her Fellow Man!!. Aunt Dell worked to support her family, especially for Tad,,(Lewis Clinton Curry), and Faye, better known as, (Fayedell Curry,), with ANY job she had, or could find, because she was alone, due to the men in her life, who either didn’t want to be married anymore or wouldn’t support her or her family, but that DIDN’T stop Aunt Dell @ ALL!!. She was employed @ Cherry Ridge Nursing Home, as a Caretaker, which was down the Road on Cherry Ridge Road, from where she lived, and where her Mother, Ida Belle Honey, was eventually a Patient. She also worked @ a Plant in Bastrop, Louisiana; and @ a Drive-In Theater fixing meals for ALL the people @ The Drive-In Theater. The biggest item she fixed, was a KICKER - HOMEMADE CHILI, which ALWAYS sold out, which AUNT Dell was known for, and other items!!. She ALWAYS provided for us ALL!!. I was too young to remember anything earlier than what I have already entered, but I do remember the cookouts we used to have @ the Old Homestead on Cherry Ridge Road. What a wonderful time in my life that was remembered!!. Aunt Dell is NOW @ the FEET of OUR LORD, enjoying her happiness in spiritual life, and watching over ALL of US. and glad I have her watching over ME and ALL my family and friends that are STILL living, and family that have already gone to be with OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!. Aunt Dell, your work here on Earth is done!!. Job WELL DONE!!. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!. REST IN PEACE, WE LOVE U!!.
