I am so sorry to hear of Carmen's passing. It seems like just the other day we were kids in school. We had so many years in the same classes. We had years of band with her ending up as drum major. We even graduated BHS, which it looks like she was drawn back to. She was always a great friend and will be missed. Sorry again for your loss, Brandon Carver

My heart has been very heavy every since reading about Ms. Cooper's passing. She was such a sweet lady who always went out of her way for everyone that she could every chance that she got. I'm thankful to have known her the last couple of years that I lived in Bastrop. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers. They were all always so nice to me and supportive of me from when Tamatha and I first began playing softball together, throughout private prom/family photo shoots during high school, and then during my bridal portrait session shortly after I moved from Bastrop. Sending love and hugs!

Great is your reward. Do you see how far and wide your sweet legacy reaches? It is sad that one never really knows the depth of how much others love them until death, but wow....
Your laughter, your love, your ability to see the good in people regardless of the circumstances, has left this world a kinder and gentler place. I only hope that we can be at least have of the example of God's love lived out as you were. That's what happens when we let Jesus rule our lives instead of trivial things...you get a person like Carmen. I am better for having known you.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you
Praying for your family.

It is very disheartening when death occurs. To the family and all who loved and remember Carmen, it is my belief that she lived a life of true servanthood honorable to God. Our hearts are weary as we reason and try to understand yet the many memories of a woman's unselfish love and kindness will remain.
May God bless and comfort everyone feeling the pain of grief. Carmen Cooper has earned her rest. Rest well Carmen. Your smile and kindness, I will never forget. You will always remain a vivid memory that lives on in my heart until my resting day.
Sincere regards,
Kelly Bradshaw

As pain and confusion set in, we as humans forget about what is waiting for us on the other side. We become selfesh not thinking about what our WONDERFUL Carmen will be surounded by. She will be able to move around without pain. She will be able to take a deep breath without pain. She will see the glory of our God above. I asked for the family to be able to have a calm peaceful feeling come over you in your darkest of hours. I was in school with Amy and have had the pleasure of being a Ram parent so i had came in contact with her angelic personality. To know her was to love her is what i have heard about great women and she was right up there with the best. My prayers are with you.
