Kevin Charles Dean, 43, of Bastrop, and a former resident of Jena, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at his home in Bastrop.
He was born October 31, 1971, and resided in Jena for ten years, from 1999 to 2009.
Kevin was a 1991 graduate of Farmerville High School and was employed in the oilfield industry.
He loved to hunt, fish, play golf and hunt arrowheads.
A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, at the Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop with Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Claude N. Gray and Charles Dean.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Dean and Philip Dean, both of Houston, TX; his mother, Vivian Gray of Oak Grove; four sisters, Melissa King of Jena, Carrie Otwell and husband James of Oak Grove; Sandy Lutrell and Karen Elrod, both of Arkansas; a brother, Bill Gray of Arkansas; his girlfriend, Angela Harris of Bastrop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
