Obituary of David J. Andrews

Funeral services for Mr. David Andrews, retired from The California Iron Workers Local 416, are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Victory Tabernacle with Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Andrews served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He married his wife of 59 years, Bertha Mae Hearod Andrews in 1953. He is survived by his three children, Michael Andrews of Bastrop, LA, Terri Mayfield and husband Gary,of West Monroe, LA, and Carl Andrews of Missouri; Three sisters and three brothers; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Andrews is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mae Hearod Andrews; parents, Arthur and Jennie Andrews; daughter-in-law, Linda Andrews; grandson, Matthew Weyandt, brother, Jesse Andrews; three sisters, Pebble Murphy, Syble Murphy and Mary Whitlock.
