Mrs. Shaw was my first grade teacher at eastside elementary way back in 1969. Even though i was only 5 yrs old she made me stay after class one day, my momma was a bus driver so i knew i was in trouble. This mean ol boy kept picking on me so i snatched his GI Joe from him and threw it in the mud.
I can still hear her " now that was not a nice thing to do young lady".RIP mrs.shaw
