Obituary of Jessie Stevenson Whitehead Bryan

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Stevenson Whitehead Bryan are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Don Hawthorn and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Stevenson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. service time at the church. Mrs. Jessie Stevenson Whitehead Bryan, 88, a longtime resident of the Stevenson Community, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at JRMC in Pine Bluff, AR. Jessie (Gal) was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Stevenson and Alberta Brunt Stevenson. Preceding her death were two husbands, Benton K. Whitehead and Marshal Bryan; two sisters, Agnes Bryan Davis and Opal Freeland Owens; two brothers, Robert Lee Stevenson and Thomas R. Stevenson. Survivors include her son Louis Whitehead and Vickie of White Hall, AR; daughter, Evelyn Romine and Larry of Rison, AR; three grandchildren, Ginger Craig and Polk of Bella Vista, AR, Brandon Whitehead of Bella Vista, AR, and Natalie Whitley and Tracy of Springfield, MO; four great grandchildren, Reece, Sierra, Drew, and Katie and one great-great grandchild, Cayden; many nieces and nephews.
