I have no words to express my sorrow for your family; I only pray that your many memories bring you comfort as you walk this difficult path. Family is precious and very dear, and to lose one breaks your heart, but we know he is in now in the presence of the Lord where there will be no more suffering or pain -- he is whole again and looking forward to a reunion that will last eternally. Great Obituary. The line ... Bro. Forrest was the epitome of a servant of God ... says it all.
There is nothing I could add but I will say that Bro. Post was an exceptional man in ministry. I count it a privilege to have known him through my best friend, Tim Post, and to have served with him as a fellow pastor. When Bro. Post walked into a room of pastors, you could feel his maturity, experience, and wisdom all around.
In the thirty-plus years that I have known Bro. Post, I have never heard anyone from his past or in his presence speak an ill word about him. To the contrary, many testified about his faithfulness to the Lord and about his ministry to them as an individual.
I cannot wait to see him again ... when we all get to Heaven.
