Graveside services for Mr. Charles Ray Tipton are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Pine Grove South Cemetery with Rev. Jeff May officiating.
Mr. Tipton, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the age of 84. He was a retired tile setter and an United States Army veteran who served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his sister, Earline Gilbert Rushing and husband Herman of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Betty Sue May and husband Jerry of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Amber Johnson of West Monroe, LA, Kaleb May of Bastrop, LA, Kelly May and wife Chelsea of Bastrop, LA; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tipton is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Tipton; father and mother, Clinton R. Tipton, Sr. and Luner Triplet Tipton; brother, Clinton R. Tipton, Jr.; sisters, Edna Wright and Gladys Adkins.
