To Mrs. Martha's family,
Mrs. Martha was a dear sweet lady and she will be missed. We knew Mrs. Martha through Zachery Baptist Church in Jones, LA and also she was a long time family friend. V.H. was one of Vesper and Charlotte Haynes children so he grew up knowing both Mrs. Martha and Mr. G.C. We are sorry for your loss but know she is happy now. We were out of town and unable to come for the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Leota and V.H. Haynes

I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible's hopeful message where it reveals that God's purpose is to restore the dead to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) I hope that you find comfort through the power of heartfelt prayer to God and your wonderful memories during this difficult time.

My heart is very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Martha. She was a special lady and I know she will be missed. I remember her as our Sunday School teacher at Zachary Baptist Church many years ago. I know that Mr. G.C. was waiting for her. Praying for her family.

Aunt Martha is rejoicing now, sitting at the right hand of God. She has joined Pam and Uncle G.C. and her mom and dad and brothers and sisters. No more pain or sorrow. We will one day meet again. Until that time, R.I.P. Aunt Martha.
Love,
Sonya Golden Adair

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Mrs. Martha. I will miss this wonderful lady who was my letter writing pal for nearly 2 decades. I know Mr. G.C. has been saving a spot on his heavenly pew, and it fills my heart with joy to know the Zachary Baptist Church "choir" is singing together again.
