A going home celebration for Mrs. Maxine Chaplin Sisk, age 72, of Bastrop, Louisiana will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Mer Rouge Cemetery with Rev. Phillip McCready officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.Thursday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sisk, a 17 year employee in the Wal Mart Sporting Goods Department passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 of a sudden illness. She had a special love for her guns, flowers, fishing and visiting with friends and family.
Mrs. Sisk is survived by her husband of 57 years, Delbert Sisk; son, Terry Sisk of Bastrop, LA; two daughters, Debbie Richards and husband Sammy of Simsboro, LA, Tracy Shono and husband Pete of Calhoun, LA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Matthew Chaplin; mother, Rosa Thornton Chaplin and one great grandson, Peyton Bizeau.
