A memorial service for Mr. Alvin G. Woods, age 90, will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Crestview Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home of Bastrop, LA.
Mr. Woods, a resident of Farmerville, LA and a retired United States Army Veteran, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his residence. He is preceded in death by a son, daughter, and grandson.
Mr. Woods is survived by his four daughters; his wife, Joyce Woods; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
