Funeral services for Ms. Clara Amanda Almond, age 30, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Golden's. Ms. Almond passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, after complications with Diabetes. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and niece. She is survived by her mother, Sheila LeBrun; step-father, Rodger LeBrun; Father, Robert Almond; grandmothers, Ruby Almond and Mildred Smith; children, Gage Myers and Abigayle Myers; sisters, Jennifer Almond, Marainna Wood; brothers, Robert Almond, Jr., Scott Almond, Chris Edwards, Jamie Almond, George Almond and Rod LeBrun; numerous nieces, nephews, a great niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ms. Almond is preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Keith Almond; grandparents, George Smith, Pat and Martha Paddie, Annie May and CT Trusty, and Tom Almond. Serving as pallbearers will be John Tom Duncan, Thomas Ivory, Caleb Almond, Chris Wilson, Norman Almond and Kyle Duncan. Serving as an honorary pallbearers will be Joe Joe LeBrun, and John Copes.
