Obituary of Ralph H. Reynolds

Funeral services for Mr. Ralph H. Reynolds are scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 2 PM, at the First Apostolic Church of Bastrop, with Rev. J. T. Wheat officiating. Interment will follow at the Causey Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church from 5 - 8 PM on Monday, October 19, 2015. Mr. Reynolds, age 73, passed from this life Sunday, October 18, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was faithful member of the First Apostolic Church of Bastrop and loved fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He retired from International Paper Company after thirty-eight years as a maintenance worker. Mr. Reynolds is preceded in death by his father, Byron H. Reynolds, mother, Dena McCowen, step-mother, Louise Reynolds; brothers, William McCowen and Gary Reynolds; sister, Bertha Wilson; and a grandson, Christopher Reynolds. Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Cheryl Reynolds; daughter, Ketrina Reynolds Rule and husband Kelby of Kerrville, TX; sons, Ranny Reynolds and wife Beverly of Bastrop; and Darryl Reynolds and wife Janna of Rogers, AR; sisters, Tiny Mae Hammond and husband Collins of Bastrop, and Clydell Parker and husband Richard of Harrell, AR; brother, Byron Reynolds, Jr. and wife Linda of Bastrop; five grandchildren, Ashley Dreher and husband Thomas, Brittney Walker and husband Josh, Bryan Reynolds, Kinley Rule, and Kailey Rule; and four great-grandchildren, Ashton Dreher, Arabella Dreher, Brilee Walker, and Dalin Walker; Very special niece, Tuwana Platt and husband Dennis of Bastrop and very special great niece, Ambi Bundy of Swartz. Serving the family as pallbearers will be David White, Andy Reynolds, Ricky Andrews, Frankie Henson, Bryan Reynolds, and Josh Walker. Honorary pallbearers are John Edward Middlebrooks and Kinley Rule.
