Obituary of Mattie Inez Kelley

Funeral services for Mattie Inez Kelley are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bernice, LA, with Bro. Steve Barrett and Dr. Michael Hawley officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Patrick Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Kelley was a resident of Bernice, LA, and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was born December 16, 1927, and passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her husband, Odos Kelley; son, Paul Kelley; parents, Ed and Lissie Holdman; brothers, John Holdman, Lee Holdman and wife Gene, William Holdman, and Monroe Holdman; and great granddaughter, Kamil Robertson. Ms. Kelley is survived by a daughter, Linda Revels and husband John; grandson, Joel Robertson and wife Rose Hopper-Robertson; great grandson, Jacob Robertson; brothers-in-law, Bobby G. Kelley and wife Janette, and Herman D. Kelley; sisters-in-law, Patsy Holdman and Bettie Holdman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bernice, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Holdman, Gary Holdman, Todd Kelley, Barry Kelley, Bill Holdman, and Bobby Burns.
