Mrs. Middlebrooks was born May 29, 1930, to Wilbur Andrew and M. Irene Rossen. She was a homemaker and caretaker who loved hunting, fishing, crafting and cooking. Mrs. Middlebrooks was an avid bingo player and enjoyed fellowship with the residents at Legrand Nursing Home. She started the collection of aluminum cans at Meridian Baptist Church in order to raise money for Bibles to hand out.
