A graveside service for Mrs. Sherry Meisner will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA, with Mr. Daniel Cook officiating. Sherry was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Bastrop, La., the daughter of Leonard C crew and Lola Belle Johnston Crew. She passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the age of 77. She loved her family and friends immensely. All her favorite pastimes involved family and friends. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and William E. Meisner, her husband of 55 years.
Survivors: Sons, Keith Meisner and wife, Melissa Meisner, David Meisner and longtime friend, Darcy Knapp Fricks; brother, Carl Crew; grandchildren, Payden Meisner, Jenna Meisner Coker, Amber Meisner, Jayce Meisner-Cain and Haylee Meisner; great-grandchildren, Reagan Cain, and Bailey Coker; many, many beloved friends.
The funeral arrangements will be held under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
