Obituary of Ernestine Tina Harper

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ernestine Tina "Teen" Harper are scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10 AM at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Lonadier and Rev. Bobby Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Harper, retired Municipal City Clerk of Bastrop, passed away January 27, 2016, at the age of 71. She was born to Ernest and Ruthel Jinks on October 27, 1944 and raised by grandparents Elijah Kimber Jinks and Mary Winn Jinks. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Teen leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved husband of 26 years, Ronnie Harper; 4 children, Chad K. Harper, Michael Harper, and daughter-in-law Payton, Shyloh Harper Murphy and son-in-law James, Gabriel Harper Meredith and son-in-law Jeff; 9 grandchildren, Misty Copes Robertson and husband Cody, Heather Duncan Eubanks and husband Justin, Kyle Duncan, Cheyanne Duncan, Katie Murphy, Jamie Meredith, Jessi Meredith, Matthew Meredith, and Stephen Meredith; three great-grandchildren, Avery Grace Eubanks, Colter August Robertson, Drew Robertson; step mother, Faye Carolyn Jinks; brothers, Doyle Jinks and wife Donna and Dennis Jinks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nolan and Mary Alice Harper; brother-in-law, Kerry Harper and wife Kathy; ex-husband and friend, Chuck Babb; she also leaves a special friend, Rosemary Owens, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Hayes, David Hayes, Joseph Harper, Billy Bunch, Ron Chapman, and J.C. Phillips. Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
