She was my next door neighbor off and on for over 50 years. Growing up I called her "Mrs. Tilbury". When my mother died and we became friends, I called her "Joyce". My daughter and grandchildren called her "Grandmother" and my great-grandchildren and youngest grandchild called her "Grandmudder". She filled so many roles in my life. When I was hungry, she fed me; when I was sad, she comforted me; when I needed help, she was always there. She helped me through my grief when my mother died. She was beautiful, smart, independent, energetic, kind, loving, honest, and loved the life God had given her and lived it to the fullest. She will be missed by so many. She was such a wonderful woman and had an impact on so many, many lives. I'm fortunate to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Tilbury's passing. She will be sorely missed, especially at holiday gatherings where she was the life of the party. She could bring a smile to anyone's day and we are certainly going to miss her. Heaven just got another bright light to lead the way for us.
