Obituary of Norma Jean Weatherly

Funeral services for Ms. Norma Jean Weatherly, age 85, of Springhill, LA, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 11 AM Monday, February 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Weatherly, a retiree from International Paper Company, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bastrop. Ms. Weatherly loved people and also was the organist for First Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. She is survived by her sister, Billie Farmer and husband Ronnie of Taylor, AR; niece, Debbie Murphy and husband Steve of Sarepta, LA; great niece, Macy Murphy and great nephew, Taylor Murphy. Ms. Weatherly is preceded in death by her parents, Etha and Woody Weatherly. Pallbearers will be; Wayne Farmer, Wayne Cloyd, Raymond Westbrook, Taylor Murphy and Steve Murphy. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Ball. Visitation will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 from 10 -11 AM at Golden Funeral Home.
